Wax Melt - Care & Safety
Please follow these tips on how to care for and enjoy your beautiful wax melts.
Wax Melt Care
Our soy wax melts are designed for use in a wax burner using a tealight or an electric wax warmer. Place several wax melt shards into the dish of your warmer - please be careful not to overfill. Light an unscented tealight inside your warmer or power-on if using an electric warmer.
You should enjoy approximately 8 hours of scent per melt. Once you feel that the fragrance is spent, allow the wax to cool and harden then simply pop it out of your warmer dish and dispose with household waste. Put fresh wax melts into your warmer - please do not add fresh melts to old wax as this will dilute the scent throw.
Wax Melt Safety
Always place on a level, heat-resistant and non-flammable surface.
Whilst lit do not leave unattended and do not place near a heat source, flammable materials or a draught.
Do not move when lit, allow to cool before touching.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Do not add water or oil.
Do not ingest.
Consider the size of your burner - some oil burners are suitable for wax melts but generally oil burners can be too small and the flame from the tealight sits very close to the dish of the burner. Excessive heat from the flame will very quickly burn off the fragrance oil and may also cause the dish of the burner to crack.
