What wax do you use in your candles?
Our wax is natural soy wax which is a vegetable wax derived from soya beans and is biodegradable. In our experience, we have found that soy wax delivers a beautifully clean burning candle with excellent scent throw (how well you can smell the scent).
With soy wax, the top of the candle may set a little uneven after burn but this is a characteristic of natural soy wax and will not affect the quality or scent throw of your candle.
Are your candles tested on animals?
Our candles are not tested on animals and the wax and fragrance oils are vegan friendly.
How can I ensure product safety?
Our candles, melts and reed diffusers come with a Care & Safety card. This is to ensure our customers are well informed on the correct and sensible use of our products. In addition to standard safety guidelines, please see the Product Care section for tips on using our products.
Can my containers be recycled?
We encourage you to reuse, refill and recycle your Olapip jars and bottles. When the candle is finished plant some succulents in your candle jar, use it as a pen pot or to hold your favourite make-up brushes. Be as resourceful as you like!
Once all the oil is your reed diffuser has evaporated, simply purchase a refill to pour into your original Olapip diffuser bottle. We accept returns of your reed diffuser refill bottle.
How do I exchange or return an item?
We hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if you are not fully satisfied and would like a refund or exchange please return the item in its original condition and packaging with proof of purchase within 14 days from the date of order of the item.
Should your order arrive in less than perfect condition please email a photograph to hello@olapip.co.uk. We can then organise a replacement or refund. We are unable to provide refunds or exchanges without proof of goods. Please note that postage charges are not refunded.
Cancellation Policy – Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 working days from the date of order of the item. Please send us a notice of cancellation by email to hello@olapip.co.uk and return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition.
Where are you located?
You can find us at Blackhall Mews, Windsor Place, Main Street, Bridge of Weir, PA11 3AF.
We’re at the end of Windsor Place, next to the bus stop at Lintwhite Crescent – the studio is set back a little but you can see us from the pavement on Main Street.
On-street parking is available at Lintwhite Crescent, Main Street and Station Road or we’re just a minute’s walk along the road from Amaretto Italian Restaurant which has a community car park.
What are your opening times?
If you’d like to shop in-person and sample the product range you are welcome to pop in to Olapip Home. Our Bridge of Weir studio is open:

How does Click & Collect work?
If you’d like to collect your order, you can do so from our studio in Bridge of Weir or occasionally from Houston.
We’ll be in touch to arrange a suitable time.
